Update: We can now confirm that the G1000 will be discontinued effective the end of today.
Sprint has once again removed the Hitachi G1000 from their main product page. Last time it was removed it was returned within 48 hours. However, the device has been extended severely and was supposed to be discontinued a half a year ago.
Considering the PPC6601 (a non-camera version of the PPC6600) is reported to be released later this month, it’s possible the G1000 has finally been fully discontinued.
