At a press event on Friday, AT&T revealed the first details about the heretofore unknown Pantech C630 3G candybar.
The phone was first revealed via FCC documentation earlier this year, but AT&T went further and divulged more details concerning the featureset, cost and availability.
The phone will feature a 1.3 megapixel camera with video recorder and Video Share support, media player, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, quadband GSM/EDGE, dual-band 3G HSDPA access, speakerphone, and microSDHC slot, but the full spec sheet was not revealed at that time.
Two other major details surfaced regarding pricing and functionality, with the phone expected to sell for at or around $50 after new 2 year agreement and rebates, along with the revelation that the C630 will be the first Pantech phone sold in the US that will be powered by Symbian, but no further OS details were divulged.
The phone will be officially announced and launched next month.
