Aliph’s original Jawbone faced a lot of issues with their first design, which offered noise cancellation abilities, such as uncomfortable wear and a high price tag.
They are now back with Jawbone 2 which features the Noise Assassin technology and a price tag of $129.99 and an extremely easy phone setup. The Noise Assassin technology filters the voice with its Voice Activity Sensor by differentiating the human voice from ambient noise with amazing accuracy and uses Digital Signal Processing to subtract the background noise so only the human voice passes through.
Visually the buttons and indicators are more subtle but the design does not compromise on the functionality. Aliph certainly have improved on the design side too, the new Jawbone is gray, smaller and much more appealing then the last year’s black version. Complete charge time is a very reasonable 50 minutes, with an 80% charge in 35 minutes.
You can pick one up from either AT&T’s website/retail location or by going to Jawbone’s website.
