Microsoft has finally released Windows Live for Windows Mobile. This is not to be confused with Live Search for Windows Mobile, a popular competitor to Google’s Maps for Mobile.
Windows Live for Windows Mobile integrates Windows Live Search, Hotmail, and Spaces into Windows Mobile.
Until recently, Microsoft has only made this software available to OEMs, meaning that if you device did not come with it pre-installed… you could not add the software. Hackers, of course, have leaked unsupported builds, but Microsoft stayed quiet about why users could not access Live integration directly.
However, the downloadable version released by Microsoft lacks Windows Live Messenger for Windows Mobile. That application remains an OEM option, the device maker must chose between the default Windows Messenger, and Windows Live Messenger. Microsoft has not stated if they have any plans to offer Windows Live Messenger for download by end users.

I’m not seeing a download for it. It basically says it’s coming soon. I realize this is an old post, but I figured I would add the comment…
Looks like they pulled it. You might want to try going to the Windows Mobile homepage on a Windows Mobile phone… but yeah, they have pulled the link that was there.
Yeah, I tried it on my laptop, and then tried it on my phone a few times- same thing. It probably had some bugs or something…
The download of Windows Live for Windows Mobile (without Messenger) is now available again at http://wl.windowsmobile.com.
Excellent! Downloading now… Thanks!
