    Apple just knows that they wont make as much money on Go Phone accounts so they see no need in making it a good experience. I also bet they didn’t see that people would be willing to pony up more money to upgrade to a bigger iPhone like people have done. So testing probably just didn’t happen for this kind of situation.

    I agree. They are more interested in Customer Plans than a pre-paid system which could possibly cut them out of getting paid on the rebilling service, whicj would mean millions in revenue.
