AT&T flat-rate service subsidiary Aio Wireless has cut costs across its plan slate and made changes to its data allotments.
The Basic Plan now costs $40 per month and now provides 500MB of high-speed data. The Smart Plan now costs $50 per month and now provides 2.5GB of high-speed data and the Pro Plan costs $60 per month and provides 5GB of high-speed data where it previously offered 7GB for $70 a month.
All plans on Aio Wireless are flat-rate and throttle data access when their respective allotments are reached. In order to make the changes even more appealing, Aio Wireless is instituting a $5 monthly discount when customers sign up for auto-pay applicable to each plan, making them even more of a value than in the past.
However, Aio Wireless has also been in the news recently for its service outages, despite running on the AT&T network, with many Aio customers reporting service issues while postpaid AT&T and GoPhone customers are able to use service as normal. Below, the new service plan chart:
