Asa Dotzle from Mozilla has revealed the first details on a low-end tablet powered by the nascent mobile operating system. The tablet will be manufactured by Foxconn and is currently known as the Infocus New Tab F1. It features a 10.1 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800.
The tablet is powered by a quad-core 1GHz Allwinner CPU that employs the ARM Cortex A7 core with a PowerVR SGX544MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage with a microSD slot included. Rear main and front-facing cameras at 5MP and 2MP respectively round out the feature set for the tablet. A 7000mAh battery powers the unit and includes an 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi radio. Per unit pricing is set at $150 through InFocus, with no launch details at this time. Below, the tablet renders showcasing the tablet’s dimensions.
