Following up on the Best Buy activity over the last couple of days, Verizon has officially announced the Moto G for next Thursday, January 9th in Verizon stores and online. The Moto G comes with a 4.5-inch HD display, 5-megapixel camera and a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor. Owners will also get 50 GB of Google Drive storage for two years, as long as the offer is redeemed within 30 days of activation. The Verizon Moto G will launch with Android 4.3 and will be upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat in the near future, though Verizon hasn’t confirmed the storage capacity of the device being launched or when the KitKat update will roll out.
