Ting Adds Support For Sprint Spark LTE Network And Devices

ting-logoUsage-based service provider and Sprint MVNO Ting has announced that it will begin offering access to the Sprint Spark tri-band LTE network, with the first two devices now available for customers to take advantage of the data network being two mobile hotspots in the Novatel MiFi 500 and Netgear Zing, while the first three smartphones to support Spark on Ting’s own device lineup will be the Samsung Galaxy Mega, Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and forthcoming LG G2.

The already available Nexus 5 from Google has also been confirmed to support Sprint Spark, with the Sprint LTE SIM provisioning Spark access once activated and the phone is in an active coverage area. Sprint Spark tri-band LTE is currently limited to New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Tampa and Miami, with Sprint slowly expanding access across the country.

    I’m a Sprint customer with Nexus 5, why can’t I get Sprink Spark?

      Because you don’t live or use your device in areas with Sprint Spark coverage. Once that changes you will have 100 Mbps sprint spark speeds.
