Acer has announced the successor to its Liquid S1 Android flagship, in the Liquid S2. The Liquid S2 features the following specifications and will be formally introduced during IFA this week:

As can be seen from the specifications, Acer is touting the Liquid S2 as being the first Android smartphone with 4K video capture along with being compatible with multiple European LTE networks. The phone’s camera assembly also features a ring flash assembly built into the camera module assembly for improved illumination of subjects as well as the following imaging enhancements exclusive to the phone:

Availability and pricing will be announced at a later date following this week’s formal introduction and Acer has yet to confirm a US release.
