Following up on Verizon’s launch of the Novatel USB727 USB modem, Sprint has announced the pending launch of its version this morning in a press release.
Sprint’s version, which is otherwise identical will support both Mac OS X and Linux operating systems with embedded firmware to automatically install drivers without the need for additional software on Windows machines.
The modem will also support location based services with the Sprint Connection Manager and compatible software.
The modem is slated to launch next month through Sprint business sales and online at $79.99 with new 2 year agreement.
I am going to Iraq and would like to know if this product works there? please let me know as soon as possible
Thanks

The U727, or any other Sprint aircard, will not work in Iraq. While Iraq will have a CDMA network in the near future, it may be on a different band frequency, and there’s no guarantee it will work at that point either.
You are much better off with a quad-band GSM & HSDPA card (unlocked, of course), so that you can use the (very limited, compartively) GSM footprint over there. Good luck.
