Samsung Announces Galaxy Core Low-End Android Jelly Bean Smartphone

Samsung Galaxy CoreSamsung has officially announced the forthcoming launch of the Galaxy Core entry-level Android Jelly Bean smartphone, the first of which will launch later this month in a dual-SIM version for international markets.

The Galaxy Core features a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and a microSD slot. The phone also has a 5.0 megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. Some of the Galaxy S III and IV software features like Motion UI, Smart Stay, Smart Alert and S Voice will also be included in the phone’s software build along with a 4.3-inch WVGA resolution display. The phone will also be made available in a more conventional single SIM version for unlocked sales next month.
