For a limited time, T-Mobile is offering the Jet 2.0 mobile broadband card as a refurbished prepaid device. The Jet 2.0 is HSPA+ capable, and rated by T-Mobile for up to 42 mbps downloading.
The bundle includes a $15 prepaid card, which can be used on both prepaid voice and mobile broadband accounts. $15 provides for 300 MB of prepaid data, the next higher tier is $25 which provides for 1.5 GB of data. The $15 “plan” expires after one week, where as a $25 “plan” expires after 30 days.
The Jet 2.0 is locked to T-Mobile, but compatible with T-Mobile’s MVNOs, including Simple Mobile and Straight Talk (Straight Talk/TracFone must use the T-Mobile SIM, not the AT&T-compatible SIM card, you can call customer service to swap SIMs).
At $19.99, it’s the lowest price we’ve ever seen for this item, including free shipping from T-Mobile. If you have a T-Mobile prepaid voice plan, this is effectively a spare mobile broadband card for just $5, as you can use the reload card with your voice plan.
The T-Mobile website is requiring that you to select a broadband plan before checking out, so it appears there is something wrong with the ordering process. Any ideas?
You need to order it here to avoid the 2-year plan requirement;

Hi folks,
We fixed the link in the article. T-Mobile provided us with the original link, which appears to have been screwed up, it provided the prepaid device but tried to add a contract to the shopping cart… for some reason.
