T-Mobile is currently clearing out
stock of its refurbished Jet 2.0 USB modems in a big way, by offering them for $10 with free shipping and a bonus $15 prepaid data refill card included with each order, essentially paying for the modem purchase itself. The Jet 2.0 modem features quadband GSM/EDGE support along with complete US 3G support on 850/AWS/1900 bands with full HSPA+ support, no doubt coming in handy for T-Mobile’s 3G network realignment.
This is the lowest price ever for a USB modem direct from a carrier without a contract requirement and can be easily activated with Walmart’s newly realigned prepaid mobile broadband plans, which start at $15 and top out at $35 for 3.5GB of access or T-Mobile’s own slate of prepaid data plans.
