Virgin Mobile is currently offering brand new customers a new deal in order to drive people to the service, with the operator offering a free month of service on the $35 Beyond Talk plan with the purchase and initial activation of either the recently released LG Optimus Elite or the currently discounted HTC Wildfire S, which is being sold for $144.99. The promotion is currently active until the 3oth and the phone must be activated by June 7th in order to receive the free month of service.
The carrier will be launching its first 4G WiMax capable smartphone in the HTC EVO V, which is Virgin Mobile’s version of the Sprint EVO 3D the day after this promotion ends, on the 31st, which will require those on the grandfathered $25 Beyond Talk plan to move to the new $35 rate.
