T-Mobile Opens Page For Nokia 5300 XpressMusic

T-Mobile has opened an information page for their upcoming release of
the Nokia 5300 XpressMusic phone.

The phone is one of the most feature packed Nokia phones on T-Mobile
since the 3650 and 6600, both of which were Series 60 devices.

This slider form factor phone features a 262K QVGA color screen,
Triband GSM (850/1800/1900), speaker independent voice dialing, 1.3
megapixel camera with video recording and landscape support (holding
the phone sideways to take a picture or video.), side mounted touch sensitive music player controls, microSD expansion slot
(with support for up to 2GB), miniUSB port (USB 2.0), and Bluetooth 2.0.

The most important feature set in this phone is the music playback
capabilities.

The music player supports no less than five formats: AAC,
AAC+, eAAC+, MP3, and unprotected WMA (Windows Media Audio).

In keeping with the music theme of the device, the phone also includes support for A2DP stereo Bluetooth support, as well as stereo headphones through an adapter, and an FM radio.

T-Mobile will be including a 1GB microSD card, stereo headphone
adapter, and USB cable in the retail package of the Nokia 5300
XpressMusic to emphasize the music playback features of the phone.

No release date has been set for the phone, but the product page does
have a link to sign up for more information as it becomes available.
