Many are not aware that just like cell phones, hotspots need to be updated. Some update their hotspots, other have hotspots that update themselves.
Sadly, there are some out there that do not yet know their hotspot could benefit from an update. This article is for you.
The largest offender by far recently has been the Samsung 4G LTE hotspot, which has suffered from connection dropouts and numerous issues. Thankfully, update LC11 fixes most of those issues.
If you have a hotspot, and are not sure if it is up-to-date, now’s a good time to check! Go to your carrier or manufacturer’s web site and see if a firmware update is available for it.
