After months of leaks, Research in Motion has officially announced its first devices with BlackBerry 7 in the the BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930 and the BlackBerry Torch 9810/9850/9860, with the 9810 being the successor to the current Torch available on AT&T and the 9850/9860 being the first slate type models in the series. The Bold 9900 is the GSM version while the 9930 is CDMA version destined for Sprint and Verizon and the Torch 9810 with hardware keyboard destined for GSM carriers with the 9850 being slated for AT&T and T-Mobile and the 9860 being slated for Sprint and US Cellular. The Sprint 9930 and 9860 feature similar hardware, with the 9860 featuring  a 3.7-inch WVGA display , BlackBerry 7 OS, a “waterfall” display curve that slightly pushes past the bezel, a 5.0 megapixel “zero-shutter lag” camera, 720p video capture , GPS support and a 1.2GHz processor. The 9930 features a 2.8 inch VGA touch display, the much praised hardware QWERTY keyboard, a 10.5mm thick bodyshell, 5.0 megapixel camera with 720p video capture with the same “zero shutter lag” tech  found in the Torch as well as NFC and magnetometer for augmented reality applications. Both phones will support dual mode GSM/CDMA network support and be sold under the Sprint World Phone service offering.
The USCellular 9860 version is identical to the above with the same specifications with no immediate word on whether it will offer the Bold 9930.
