Following the release of the 4.3.4 and 4.2.9 security update to fix the longstanding PDF exploit that allowed for browser-based jailbreaking, Apple has released yet another security patch for the operating system, this one being pushed out to fix security certificate issues.
The new update pushes the respective iOS versions to 4.3.5 for all GSM models and 4.2.10 for the CDMA version. denoting the first time that Apple has released such a point version for iOS.
The latest update still allows for tethered jailbreaking via the latest redsn0w update.
