Sprint has issued a long-awaited firmware update for their Motorola K1m KRZR. Firmware version 24.2_00.43.00R fixes and enhances the phone’s Media Player, Picture Mail, and Music support. It also adds support for the Media Player to function with the flip closed.
However, the update does not fix the uiOne lag that has plagued the device. It is the only uiOne device on Sprint to have performance issues with the user interface.

Update: As shown in the comments, it appears Sprint has pulled the update. Most users are getting errors that are the equivalent to a notice that there is no update available. Specifically, the 1012 error that indicates that the most recent update has been revoked by Sprint.
