Samsung has announced the i760 at CES, but has not explicitly confirmed
release for Verizon.
As we reported here,
the device is scheduled for release on Verizon sometime in the 2nd
quarter of this year, but no other details were given.
Samsung has also announced the A727, an ultra-thin tri-mode quadband
UMTS/HSDPA/GSM candy bar phone with a 262K color display, 2.0 megapixel
camera, and Bluetooth with A2DP support in an 8.9mm body. Currently no
carrier has been announced, with heavy speculation that Cingular will
carry the phone.
