Following its failed venture in the smartphone arena, Garmin has released a new navigation app for iOS in the StreetPilot app for $39.99, undercutting TomTom’s offering while still offering real-time traffic data, voice commands, lane assist, address book integration and multitasking support.
The StreetPilot app will also be made available for the BlackBerry in the future and is currently available for the iPad and iPhone 3G/3GS/4.
