Sprint has begun to roll out a new update for the HTC Hero Android smart phone. The update addresses device diagnostics an MMS issue with contact number format and updates the Sprint Zone application. The update is being pushed over the air and can be accessed by going to All Applications > Settings > About Phone > System Updates > HTC Software Update > Check Now. Follow the on-screen instructions to download the update if available. As the update is being rolled out in stages, it may not be available immediately.
