Third-Party Retailer Wirefly Offering Backup Service

Third-party wireless retailer Wirefly has announced that it has begun to offer a data backup service in Wirefly Mobile Backup. 

The service will support all carriers and major mobile platforms with 2GB of storage offered at no charge for the life of the account. It also includes a companion PC application that syncs data from the phone smart device to the backup service as well as a mobile app for contacts, pictures, calendar entries, ringtones, and music on Wirefly’s servers. Android, iPhone, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile 6 is currently supported with further support for PalmOS, Java ME, Windows Phone 7 and Symbian operating systems by the end of the year.
