Sprint has announced the forthcoming release of a new Enhanced Services Framework for developers and manufacturers that will allow for complete access to Sprint APIs including the historically closed voice and messaging APIs in order for third party developers and manufacturers to integrate the services into their offerings without the typical roadblocks associated with such development.
Some of the examples given include in vehicle telematics, gaming, machine to machine integration and data transmission across various devices, such as healthcare applications.
