The following devices and plan changes have been confirmed for launch on T-Mobile next month according to internal documentation:
November 3rd:
Data Plan Changes
Tethering plan add-on and support on Android
T-Mobile Comet
Motorola Defy
LG Optimus T
myTouch4G
November 8th:
HTC HD7
November 10th launches:
Galaxy tab
That tethering add-on is going to be an extra $15 a month according to some other leaked sources. Up to this point tethering has been free on TMo, too bad the party’s over and they have to be just like everybody else doing the nickel-and-diming game. And they don’t increase the throttling cap above 5 Gig either if you add it. Not impressed with this move at all. TMobile has raised their plan prices and pretty much thrown away any price-incentive to stay with them. They are NOT Verizon or AT&T, and unlike AT&T and Verizon, they are LOSING customers. They need to use incentives to ATTRACT customers, not drive them away. And this tethering charge will definitely cause further defections.
