AT&T has launched both the Pantech Laser and the Motorola Flipout respectively.
The Pantech Laser features a 3.1 inch AMOLED touch screen, sliding QWERTY keyboard, and Drawing Commander, a feature that allows for calls to be made, messages to be opened or favorite apps to be accessed by simply tracing a shape with a finger, 3.0 megapixel camera with video recorder, Bluetooth with stereo audio support and microSDHC slot. Pricing is set at $149.99 after new two year agreement before an additional $50 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $99.99.
The Flipout will feature Android 2.1 along with a refined version of the MotoBLUR user interface, 2.8-inch QVGA resolution touchscreen display, 3.1 megapixel camera with digital zoom and video recorder, 512MB internal storage with a 2GB microSD card bundled, GPS support with enhanced compass, Wi-Fi radio, QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth with stereo audio support and 3.5mm headphone jack along with triband HSPA/quadband GSM/EDGE. Pricing is set at $79.99 after new 2 year agreement with no additional mail-in rebate required.
