A loophole has been discovered in AT&T’s automated system that allows customers with iPhone under the new metered data plans the option to switch to the previous unlimited iPhone data plan. The process requires a feature phone and some time set aside to perform the steps. This loophole cannot easily be closed by AT&T as the $30 unlimited iPhone plan has to remain active in the system for grandfathered customers and the $30 feature phone data plan is still available for new accounts to purchase.
