Internal T-Mobile documentation has confirmed that the carrier will begin throttling heavy data users that go past the 5GB cap beginning on Saturday, with throttling dependent on device and account type. The carrier will notify users via text message that data speeds will be reduced when the limit is reached and surpassed for that billing cycle, with the speeds reset when the new billing cycle begins.
