Following up, AT&T has announced the forthcoming launch of the Pantech Laser on October 17th, which it calls one of the thinnest quick messaging devices in its line up with a sliding QWERTY keyboard at 9.5mm thick.
The phone features a 3.1 inch AMOLED touch screen, sliding QWERTY keyboard, and Drawing Commander, a feature that allows for calls to be made, messages to be opened or favorite apps to be accessed by simply tracing a shape with a finger, 3.0 megapixel camera with video recorder, Bluetooth with stereo audio support and microSDHC slot.
Priciing is set at $149.99 after new two year agreement before an additional $50 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $99.99.
