RIM has announced the forthcoming launch of the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300. The 9300 is the successor to the 8520 and features triband 3G support (AT&T and T-Mobile 3G), optical directional pad, Wi-Fi radio with wireless N support, microSDHC slot, media player and 3.5mm headphone jack along with Bluetooth with stereo audio support. RIM has also confirmed that the 9300 will receive a future update to BlackBerry 6 with no timetable for availability given.
In related news, T-Mobile has announced its own variant of the Curve 3G with no pricing or availability details at this time.
