Ahead of the launch of the AT&T Samsung Captivate tomorrow, a root hack has been released that is confirmed to work for the device. The hack was derived from the European-spec Galaxy S, with the Captivate being based off of the same hardware with minor differences for AT&T, which also confirms an unlocked bootloader. The root is also expected to work for the other US variants of the Galaxy S with no independent confirmation as of yet.
