For those that want to try out overclocking their Pre, but don’t feel savvy enough to go through the steps required in previous overclocking tools, a new application in Super PreKernel has dramatically simplified the process of overclocking to the point of selecting a desired speed, with the capability to revert to the default clockspeed almost at will.
The application supports overclocking to 550, 600, 720, and even 800MHz with all versions of the Pre supported regardless of carrier. The tutorial is available in PDF and Word versions, with the application available here.
