Sprint Signs Deal with GetJar App Portal

Sprint has recently signed a deal with venerable application portal GetJar in which the progenitor to the current wave of app stores available from Apple and Google will be prominently featured on the Sprint mobile portal and select Sprint phones.

GetJar offers over 60,000 applications across a variety of mobile operating systems and platforms beginning with Java Mobile Edition, spanning Android, Windows Mobile, Palm OS, Symbian, and iPhone.
