Following T-Mobile’s lead, Verizon Wireless is now waiving calling fees from its wireless and wireline customers to Haiti. Likewise, Verizon customers in Haiti will not be charged to call the U.S. The carrier also stated it will waive all extra calling fees retroactive to the time of the earthquake on January 12, and will extend the waived fees until 11:59PM EST on Sunday, January 31, 2010.
