Virgin Mobile Samsung Intercept Getting Froyo This Spring

Following up, Virgin Mobile has confirmed via its Twitter account that its version of the Samsung Intercept will receive its long-awaited Android 2.2 update this Spring.

This follows the recent update for the Sprint version of the smartphone and subsequent clamoring by Virgin Mobile Intercept customers, with some even flashing the Sprint version of the update on to the Virgin Mobile version.
