Verizon has released the Samsung i600 & Samsung i700 Windows Mobile 2003 updates. They can be downloaded online and installed without going in-store.
The update web site currently has a couple of problems. First, it asks for your Verizon phone number, but rejects any number that was ported from another carrier. You must call Customer Service and ask for your MIN/MSID, which is your internal Verizon phone number. Also, the site will reject any Decimal ESN entered, you must enter the Hexadecimal ESN from the back of the phone.
