The BlackBerry 8830 World Edition has been launched for consumers on Verizon.
As we covered in-depth,
the 8830 features dualband GSM (900/1800) for
international roaming, trackball navigation, landscape QVGA screen,
media player, microSD expansion, Bluetooth, speaker independent voice
dialing, and speakerphone.
The phone is now available for $399 with a $100 instant discount
bringing the total to $299 with an additional $100 mail in rebate
available when
bundling voice service and data. The phone is also available through
Verizon Wireless Retail Stores.
