Sanyo RL-7300 Update In-Testing
Sprint has received a new firmware revision for the Sanyo RL-7300. No word yet on what is being improved/fixed.
Sanyo 5500/VM4500, RL-7300 Updated
Sprint has issued firmware version 1.011SP for the Sanyo 5500/VM4500 and firmware version 1.006SP for the Sanyo RL-7300 to all Sprint Stores. Firmware Tracker Updated… Phones Section Updated…

While it is unknown if Sprint will release firmware 1.009SP for the 5500/VM4500, we can confirm that Sprint is now testing version 1.010SP. Changes currently unknown. Also, Sprint has received firmwares 1.005SP and 1.006SP for the Sanyo RL-7300. Again current changes unknown.

Update: Test release eight is now out, though there are no major changes that affect Sprint phones. The BitPim Project has created yet another .7 test release. Test release seven adds support for the Sanyo RL-7300 and improves Calendar support on all Sanyo phones.
