In a press release today Motorola has announced the launch of the Motorola MOTOACTV W450 fitness-oriented clamshell.
The phone is noted for featuring health and wellness applications developed in cooperation with the Mayo Clinic known as In Touch which functions similarly to an encyclopedia which assists people in diagnosing symptoms common while outdoors. The complete featureset consists of a 1.3 megapixel camera with video recorder, CrystalTalk noise reduction technology, microSDHC expansion slot, speakerphone, Bluetooth, and media player.
The phone is now available from T-Mobile online for $159.99 retail and $79.99 after an $80 instant online discount, before an additional $50 mail-in rebate bringing the total to $29.99.
