Sprint Treo Pro Listed in Best Buy Online Ad

Best Buy has listed the Sprint Treo Pro in its online Weekly Ad for $249.99 after new 2 year agreement and rebates.

The device has been oft delayed due to a myriad of issues, the biggest one being a ROM issue that PhoneNews.com previously reported on which affected free memory availability.  The listing is also notable as Best Buy typically lists devices online at full retail price instead of the conventional after rebate price

    That’s really costly doesn’t have me believing the Pre will be cost efficient

    Amusing. It says it runs Windows Mobile 6.1.

    That’s because it DOES run Windows Mobile 6.1. This is the Treo Pro, not the Palm Pre (a separate phone that runs Palm’s new WebOS).

    I’ve played with the GSM version and it’s VERY nice. More responsive than you’d expect from WinMo 6.1. Looking forward to that 3.5 mm jack and slimmer than any other treo that I’ve seen.
