Sources report that on May 15, Sprint will roll out a minor change to their Right Plan Promise. The Sprint Right Plan Promise currently states that any customer can change their plan within three months, and not have to sign a new contract. Usually plan changes with any national carrier (with the exception of Alltel) prompts an immediate renewal of the one or two year agreement.
On May 15, Sprint will double the amount of time alloted in the Right Plan Promise. Customers will have up to six months after signing a new agreement to change their rate plan, without extending their service agreement.
