After first being announced earlier this Summer with scarce details, Sprint has officially announced pricing and launch details for the second LTE-capable Windows Phone 8 device planned for the carrier’s lineup. The Samsung ATIV Neo S will be released beginning this Friday in all Sprint sales channels for $199.99 before an additional $50 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $149.99.
The phone features a 4.8-inch 720p HD display, a 1.4GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and support for microSD cards up to 64GB, support for Sprint’s LTE 4G network and GSM/HSPA networks for international roaming. The device also features GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and Wi-Fi; an 8-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel user-facing camera rounds out the feature set along with a removable 2,000mAh battery.
