Palm today announced on their blog that they will be releasing a new firmware update for the Treo 700p at the end of next month. The Treo 700p maintenance release focuses mostly on fixing problems with Bluetooth that have plagued the device since its release.
In addition, the update will also fix issues with SMS, MP3 playback, as well as the phone application and other miscellaneous issues. Palm is currently targeting the week of May 28th for the release of the update, for both Sprint and Verizon versions of the device.
