After a series of leaks, Microsoft has officially announced the Lumia 535, which features the best from the newly refocused Lumia line at an affordable price. The phone features a quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 processor, a 5-inch IPS display at 960×540 resolution, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory with a microSD slot, and a 1905 mAh battery. The phone also features a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, while its front-facing camera is the same 5-megapixel camera as found on the selfie-oriented Lumia 730 / 735 while including Microsoft Office, Skype, OneNote, and Cortana (where available). A companion color-matching cover will also be released as an optional accessory.
The phone will be released in multiple colors such as white, black, cyan, bright orange, bright green, and dark grey, with the pricing set at €110 ($137) before subsidies and taxes. The first launch markets for the phone will be China, Hong Kong and Bangladesh with more markets to be announced.
