In a press statement, HTC has confirmed that its current One series flagships in the One S, One X, and One XL would be updated to Android Jelly Bean, but interestingly left out the One V.
“We know HTC fans are excited to get their hands on Google’s latest version of Android. At this point in time, we can confirm that we have plans to upgrade our HTC One X, HTC One XL and HTC One S to Jelly Bean. Please stay tuned for more updates regarding device upgrades, timing and other details about HTC and Jelly Bean.”
While spokesperson Jeff Gordon confirmed the update for the international versions, he stopped short of confirming updates for US carrier versions which have yet to be announced. Currently, the HTC One V is available on Virgin Mobile USA, the One S on T-Mobile USA, and the One X on AT&T and each respective carrier has yet to confirm such updates for their One series devices.
