Google vice-president of engineering Andy Rubin has confirmed to the New York Times during an interview that the next version of Android in Froyo (2.2) will feature full support for Adobe Flash 10.1, with the next wave of devices based on 2.2 launching in the 2nd half of the year.
The rest of the interview focuses on Android and the differences between it and Apple’s iPhone platform while offering a candid look at where the platform is different from Apple’s, even going as far as comparing the Cupertino-based company to North Korea.
