Google has announced that its Sync service now features support for push GMail by enabling the option on the desktop web page for iPhone (3.0+ only) and Windows Mobile with a full backup suggested before performing the operation.
Google Calendar and Contacts are also fully supported by the new push functionality as well.
This works great on my touch diamond. Will the push emial work on android phones? I have htc diamond now but I am getting htc hero next month and would love this to work. This push for gmail and google voice are perfect if they work together.
