Amnesty International USA has partnered with citizen-action group
Working Assets Wireless to launch Amnesty Wireless. The new MVNO is
powered by Sprint-Nexel on the CDMA ntework and offers socially
conscious customers the ability to speak to world leaders and other
ways of communicating concerns about human rights issues in the world.
The service is bundled with an LG 225 and offers unlimited calling to
other Amnesty Wireless members as well as unlimited nights and weekends
starting at $29.99 per month as well as offering to purchase an existing
contract (up to $175) as an incentive for new customers.
