The first live images for the forthcoming LG Android device codenamed Star for Verizon have surfaced.
Following up on a previous report, the Star will feature a dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 chipset with a stock Android build, microSDHC expansion slot, capacitive touch display and 8.0 megapixel camera with LED flash and 1080p video capture. Due to the inclusion of LTE support, the smartphone will not be sold until the middle of next year, keeping inline with Verizon’s own mandate for LTE smartphones.
Are you sure this phone is for Verizon? This one looks different from the LTE capable LG Android phone for Verizon that Engadget wrote about last month in the following link.
